01 / THE CORPORATE PERSPECTIVE

Counsel as a strategic asset.

We represent a select group of companies, public company boards, and management teams, often over many years. As a valued part of our clients’ management teams, we participate in strategic and operational conversations and learn the business—its goals, corporate culture, and people.

That continuing involvement lets us see legal questions through a different lens and provide business-oriented strategic legal advice grounded in how each company operates and where it wants to go.

How the practice works ↗

From formation.
Through growth.

For one longstanding client, Beth’s work began before formation. She helped form the company and has continued as legal and strategic counsel through its growth.

The relationship illustrates a broader purpose: counsel who understands how the business came together, what it is building, and the decisions still ahead.

04 / OUR LAWYERS

Major-firm experience.
Individual perspectives.

Beth di Santo and Amy K. Maliza bring more than 40 years of combined experience, including training at major Wall Street law firms and work representing leading investment banks, financial institutions, and public companies across energy, real estate, technology, and other industries. Their experience spans billions of dollars in transactions, including initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, seed and private equity financings, strategic business combinations, and joint ventures.

Their perspective also comes from advising businesses throughout their lifecycle—from formation and early financing through growth, ongoing operations, and exit planning. Longstanding relationships with founders, boards, investors, lenders, and commercial partners give them a practical understanding of how legal decisions shape a business. That continuity, together with substantial energy-sector experience, connects transaction execution and corporate governance with the decisions clients face every day.
